This project is spread over a program five years, beginning in January 2012. It aims to develop a national industry competitive and sustainable on photovoltaics : encapsulation, packaging and assembly of solar cells.
ISOCEL proposes to develop, first in laboratory scale, prototype and finally industrial, 3 generations of photovoltaic panels (G1, G2 and G3) on two assembly lines roadmap “products”.
Directly from market constraints, the ISOCEL project aims short-term production of modules based on known tehcnology and wafer If, later, the production of modules based on thin film technologies (such as CIGS, organic…).
The project was selected by the ADEME (French Agency for Environment and Energy Management) for funding under the Investments for the Future program.
