In collaboration with IRT Jules Verne and within the framework of the FORCE project, CANOE has just installed a wet spinning line which will make possible to control the formulation of the carbon precursor, its transformation into fibers, its mechanical properties as well as the economic aspect that goes into the manufacture of low cost carbon fibers.

This line complements the carbonization pilot line already operational since 2 years on CANOE. It is co-financed by the Regional Council of Nouvelle Aquitaine and the IRT Jules Verne.
